About USA: there are some ways to do american papers,which let you to work here.But not all companies will shoot you with this papers.I can't work for Vivid,Hustler,Wicked,Penthouse etc.And yankeis like yankies! You will never been put on the same level with american actreses! We must do our best,but,sometimes,it's not enought! You are right, Olga, I just didnt mention Katja Kassin and Anetta Swartz because as Germans they are not covered by our EBI main focus.

Firstly this discussion and myths about America is always very entertaining for me. There are many euro performers that work in the states and will actively tell stories or even outright lies to discourage their fellow euro actors and actresses from coming there to work.

This mentality, stems from fears that they will have less work and also the agents who do not want to loose 'control' of the foreign talent. So the information needed to acquire documentation and work is very close guarded and difficult to find out the exact methods without going through the hands of your pimp or being sent on a wild goose chase by your fellow performer 'friends' lol!

Olga speaks a lot of truth about the situation and many of her observations are very true, however from my point of view things seem a lot more simple, and that is without Gordon Brown's help Mr Stemcell! Actually, if you can simplify everything then the happier your life will be.

Yes you do need US government issued ID to work in the states which is very straight forward.
You also 'legally' need a work visa and social security number for tax and immigration reasons.
Many production houses can find ways around the situation and a level of 'fiddling' can be done.

So, for me it became a matter of friendship. Define what 'work' really is and trust in your real friends. That's it, really it's so easy. If you don't want to be pimped then it's pretty easy for agents to freeze you out of work but if a company wants to shoot someone then they will find a way and of course you need to know who to trust!

It all depends on the agreement. Some agents provide rooms for Eurobabe-gastarbeiters for almost free, some Eurobabes find a sponsor over there.
Also please remember that in Budapest they have to pay for their flat, too.
Anyway, working in the Valley sure also have this American Dream touch. Many girls just dream of it - and no matter what it actually turn out to be I think its a good move they can finally more easily fulfil their dreams. This said, I prefer them to stay and shoot porn in Budapest of course.
