Queenie stopped working earlier this year then came back for a few jobs, now kinda semi-retired, theoretically she would take some select jobs but in reality she's too busy (she has normal a day job).

I saw some casting photos of Lollycat recently so she's active although I don't know how busy is she. I heard (some) producers don't like her coz she can't really convincing to play she enjoys what she does... in BG jobs.

Jenny N was in Paris for soft/art jobs last month and said she wants to stop doing BG but I don't think that will happen just yet...

Eleanor and Pink Pussy are retired, Sandra Parker is active, Chiara and Veronica as well, but as the business is slowing down, girls with more jobs under their belts and/or with certain attitudes hardly getting any jobs... Also Veronica still only does BG with his boyfriend so obviously she gets less jobs.

The business slowdown is obviously not good for the long careers in general, many girls opt for day jobs, webcam, escorting or whatever pays their bills and fit to their personalities.

Add to the eco slowdown, the tendency of harder and harder gonzo (tamed teens, dominated girls, slapping, spitting, anal and dp) is not the best start for most newbies. In the past many girls could work for years without doing anal or dp and they could progress in their careers. Now they face the requirement for these kind of jobs (much sooner) but then many of them will think "thanks but no thanks"...

I agree 100%. I observe the same.
In fact some girls are moving to webcam that's a business that can help bills and personalities without being too much invasive.

It is also true that gonzo is dominating the current prod and this divide girls, since their beginning, in 2 groups: those who know that sooner will have to perform very hard scenes and will spend some time in the biz (tryiing to take the maximum but also giving the max) and those who will stay only for small jobs and second roles as long as they can but ready to stop as soon as things become hard.
This is also part of the biz....
