[Poll] How much did you cut your biz and Eurobabe support?

The 2008-11 crisis is barely over and now they talk of a new one!
Porn and especially our cute Eurobabes will be amongst the first to be affected, the more as the net offers a lot of alternatives for those who prefer to steal instead of paying for fun.
Realizing I cut my porn spendings gradually from 2008 I am just curious how much you did?

I used to spend about 250 Euro per month on porn, now I am down to about 150 Euro/mt.
I watch my dvd collection back catalogue mainly; if I buy I also get mainly older and therfore often cheaper films.

I'm down a little from 2008 but in general still buy about 3 or 4 DVDs a month.

Problem I have (as documented in other threads) is that I can find very little (if any) new porn that I like due to the unerotic aggression of just about every contemporary male porn star and/or the repetitive current gonzo style.

Thus for the last year at least I've literally just bought old (usually pre-2006) titles, with the odd occasional gamble on something recent which invariably ends up in the bin. I have a strict "nothing post-2006" policy at this time, just too risky.

So ultimately my porn intake will become zero unless some new porn that is to my taste emerges.

Started this poll because looking at my porn orders and spendings during the first ten months of 2011 I realized how much I cut it compared to 2008. I actually didnt want to do so on purpose, it just happened. I guess with 150 Euro per month I am still above forum average, but I was shocked that all that crisis talk here and everywhere influenced my consumer habits, too. I have still some money left and resolved to order more dvds also in US and Netherlands again before X-mas and try out a few sites more for at least 1 month.

spent 10-20 % less....but since my favourite stopped working in the middle of this year it has dropped much more and more since, so therefore the spennding will b record low for next year. i will keep looking strictrly for pornsites from now on, so its gonna b a lot lower then bfore.

Same here, I only join HD paysites, so I spend much less as well!

If you buy only 3-4 dvds per month you can still buy pre-2006 porn for many years, Vulture!
Although partly for different reasons I do basically the same. I`d say max. one third of my dvd puchases are post 2006.
Its just that most Eurobabes I collect dps of are from the 2000-6 crop, the rest is mainly dap scenes for my collection and thats recently 99% Russian porn.
The problem with buying back catalogue is that you basically just support the distributor, but neither the actual producers nor the girls.

At the moment the forum majority seems to be at my point, i.e. 50% down + watching predomontly scenes buyed long ago.
But I just try to change that tendency and ordered a lot of new stuff in the US and Italy for 400 Euro. :
Best option, btw, are the 4 voters who ticked they spend more on porn now than 2008-10!
I just hope that`s true...me, I wont reach that level unfortunately.

I cut back because of a lack of Eurobabes (and other babes) doing dap. Also, I have stopped going to the stores to buy DVDs and so do not make impulse purchases; I buy online.

The lack of dap is a major reason for me, too, ronk.
Its conected with the crisis, though, as for example tiger of 21S pointed out. If they can barely reach even with sites and dvd productions they shoot cheaper sex acts. Its a viscious circle of crisis talk --> consumers spending less money on porn --> producers earning less money to re-invest in new productions.

I also stopped sex shop shopping and went online only. But there I actually do a lot of impulse shopping if its resonably cheap!
Also just stocked up on Ariana Jollee and Audrey Hollander dap dvds I havnt in my collection. At least some "new" daps!

Well, not counting those who just spend a small fraction of their 2008-10 porn budget.
I wonder how much that is?

Just wanted to report a positive side-effect of this poll on me:
It made me order a lot of dvds from my Italian and US suppliers in Nov-Dec. 2011 and just now today.
At the end of last year I ordered porn dvds for over 500 Euro; in January 2012 it was 150 Euro.
I hope to keep up at least that pace all over 2012.
