IP address blocks are assigned regionally, so all the XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX block is assigned to Russia. Of course, Russia may have more than one, but one suffices to illustrate the point. Deny access to the entire XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX block at your router and you're done.

Russian porn stars are usually ordinary girls living ordinary lives. They make porn to earn some extra cash, but do not want their family & friends to find out about their porn careers. To guarantee the girls a degree of anonymity, Russian porn sites are generally not accessible from within Russia. The FHGs don't work either. You're simply redirected to Google.

Of course, there were always ways around this. You can go through a proxy server, but that's too complicated for the average surfer. You may be able to download (pirated) videos for free, but you have to search for them, or join a porn board. In short, the casual Russian surfer is unlikely to stumble upon his neighbor or daughter's porn videos.

I obviously didn't check all the sites while I was in Piter, but this is a short resume:

Thanks for the explanation, Loso. Now I understand better. But I have one big question: why now is TCC accesible for russians, and not other sites? Then, is better for TCC not to be accesible from Russia? (in order to find new rookies and keep privacy for them). How can they solve this problem?
