How come that majority of euro girls has a lot of alias, while in US, situation is more clear, no mater what production they work with they stick to same name?
in europe (specially russian babes) for every production, site, movie... they change name!
us porn babes have usually artistic name and last name (much easier to trace their work) while mostly eurobabes stick with name.

why there is no mutual agreement with euro producers to use same name of babes?

actually how things works, any inside informations?

Because the US Girls checked out that being a Pornstar is not only fucking in Front of the Camera.
They have learned that there's a lot of Promotion and Marketing to do to become a real Pornstar. This includes making your Porn-Name a unique Trademark.

Which doesn't disprove the fact, that they're more consistent in US. I always wonder if having European girl (especially a newcomer) under so many bland names (Hi, I'm Sasha/Marta/Gold/Eve/Lorry/Alice/...) is in fact a fault by the producers. Girls probably sign their deals with real names but what's used on screen depends on the mood of the producer (You're Rachel today) or their mood (I think Sara is cute, I'll use it today.) And one (bad) thing is changing names, another is having single word ones. How many pornstars by the name Alice or Sandra are there?

Not really. US girls usually only change their name if they majorly change their appearance, and even then they are still the exception. Mirage got a shitload of plastic surgery and changed her hair and stuff and then became Brianna Banks.

I disagree. Sativa/Vanessa Chase did not 'majorly change' her appearance, nor did Mya Mason/Mya Johnson/China, Leanni Lei/Mimi/Lailani or Aspen Brock/Tabitha Taylor.

It doesn't take much effort to look through the IAFD and see that a significant number of American performers have at least one alias. Do they change names as often as some of the Euro girls? I don't know and I don't really care, I was simply responding to the notion that girls using multiple names was a European phenomenon. As far as I'm concerned, it's a common phenomenon in all of porn.

The naming of the Models (PornStars) has always been done by WebMasters, Modeling Agencies, and Production Companies for as long as I can remember. This is TRUE for all Models USA or Euro. It usually isn't, until a Model (PornStar) gets established in the Porn Industry that, they (Model/PornStar) are settled into just a couple of names. I have seen also after a Model (PornStar) has left the Business for a while and then they decide to return to the Business, for whatever reason or reasons they may have, change their Stage Name. Do the people that make the Stage Names for the Models (PornStars) need to get together and maybe let the Model (PornStar) suggest a Stage Name for herself??? Maybe, they do......It would help a lot of Model Index Sites from having to cross reference Aliases to match to the correct Model (PornStar), especially, when there are several Aliases, that are alike for even one Model (PornStar). Until that happens, I guess we are all stuck tracking down a Model (PornStar) by all the Stage Names, they are given by WebMasters, Modeling Agencies, Content Providers, and Production Companies.

The best names are unique or rare and thus search friendly, best example is maybe Boroka Bolls, I don't know what it means and who came up with it but it sounds extremely cool. Very unfortunate is Rose for instance because searching yields to all kind of results but not for you are looking for.

It's actually Boróka and it's one the the Hungarian versions of the name Barbara. It also happens to be Hungarian name for juniper.

Boróka is a hungarian rare name. It mean juniper. Is the name of a plant used as condiment, like the Cayenne pepper. I'ts me who was suggestung her to use the 2.nd name Bolls one night in a club we were together at the beginning of her career. Here is the picture from that night ( look at the date!), when she decided to take serious this biz. Like this you will have the simple answer why Bolls and not Bols. Later when she become a bit known, and we wanted to buy the domain name for Boroka Bolls, it was already buyed by a company to whom she was working- Claudia Bluebell. This is why Pierre Woodman who was thinking on taking her as a contract girl, was buying the new domain, and changed her name in Balls. And yes, usually the managers of the girls, the agencies, production companies are finding the stagenames for theyre models, together with the models.

I would actually prefer names which are more in line with the origin of the girls. All the generic English names sound the same, it's confusing. To me a Czech or Hungarian name is much more memorable than the 20th Angelina and the 34th Nikki....
