I am in Prague with my children and I go to Brno in the refugee camp where I should be granted refugee status and undergo quarantine for a month! Then, I was allowed to live in the city in a rented apartment! I think I might stay in Brno? Who knows a good and affordable apartment?

Congrats, Wiska! I'm really happy for you and your family. Hopefully the refugee camp isn't to bad and everything turns out like you want!
IMHO Brno is a good decision... you always talked about Prague, but trust me, you can live nice in other parts of the country too (cheaper, closer to nature, better flats for the money). Brno is is close to Prague, Vienna and Bratislava... and Budapest isn't that far either. And it's a nice city.
If you look for an appartment google for "byt" or "byty" + Brno. To rent is "pronájem". Have a look here:

In case you don't need to live in a large city: smaller towns are often very nice in Czechia, cost less money and are not far away from the big cities. Just ask if you want some recommendations.

Once I had many friends in the small town of Brno but shouldn't be difficult to find an apartment at reasonable price there. And, in case of need, you will not be far from bigger cities like Bratislava and Wien, but also Prague and Budapest.

Anyway, good luck for your new life there with your family! Whatever you will do then, you will be in our hearts as a brave woman!
