Since a couple of actors/directors/agents - whatever - recently wrote in that "Bad Czech Day" topic, I wonder whether we should create an usergroup for these "professionals" so they can discuss their topics and features without being disturbed by the "normal" users?

I mean, hum errhh, personally I disagree with this being a non-public topic, but if the majority of ther pros wants it like that, maybe we could/should provide them with a plattform for their internal discussions?

Technically it is easy to provide - just make a new sub-forum with access only for ranks like "Legendary Cutie" and "X-Clusive" (plus of course mods and admins) and let them talk isolated if they really want.

If you want to, you can create it yourself and then communicate it to each vip poster.

I created a new Inside Out forum but how do we set access to a special group of people only? I can only set it to PRIVATE, MOD, PUBLIC, etc...

Apart from manually granting access to each member? Maybe Nop knows or White and Stem.

not knowing here. Saw the same problem earlier this day, when I was thinking about this subject. Difficult to say.

But I think it can be handled by creating an usergroup and give access to all members of that usergroup.

I made it private and hidden and allowed a series of users. But I think White's the proper and quicker way.

so, I put all (at least all I think they are for real) manually into the group - one by one.

Hope I forgot nobody. So I guess we either contact them with PM or we just wait and see whether they are able to see the new forum by themselves, or how?

Or - if someone has a dummy nick, lmk which one and I will add it for testing reasons.

Not me, since with the move to the new forum my ADMIN rights for the forum were stripped off my account
