If you spend some time at the EBI forum, you get the impression that the facial looks and anatomical features of porn girls are more important and interesting than the porn movies these girls appear in.....

No offence intended, but to me that is a very strange idea.

I like to buy porn movies on DVD. The purchase decision is based on the DVD's availability in shops; the price; and of course content and quality.

When it comes to content and quality, the best indicators are for me the porn company and the director.

For example if I want to buy high quality American anal oriented hardcore, I will focus on the company Evil Angel and then on the directors Jake Malone and Christoph Clark.

The female cast is not really my concern. I have no doubt whatsoever that directors like JM and CC will pick some hot girls who will come up with a good performance as required. Most of the times I don't recognize the girls and I don't know their names. It is more important that I can check the trailer to see if I like the action. Online reviews can also be helpful.

for me it is the opposite. when buying a dvd the most important thing is the cast. if it has some of my favorite girls, than I want to buy it. Second reason to buy a disc than is director/studio!

I perfectly get your point - and your heading, too. It used to be like this for me with many years, but mainly EBI completely changed my approach.
I think today there are so many nice girls and good directors that it just is more fun to single out some favorite girls and fellow them. It´s also more interesting this way.
This all saying I still mainly buy my dvds act based, i.e. I try mainly to shop for new daps. But there are always a few non-dap films I buy and here I definitely look for my favorite girls performing dp or at least anal. Below anal doesnt catch my interest.

Hmm, If I wasnt recognized the cast and the girls I wont probably meet some great people from the businness.
And the time proved that the performers make a movie. Because particular actor can be in most time a waranty of a good performance.

Just my 2 cents.

You must be the type of veiwer that camera men film close ups of gentals going in and out for. If you've seen one set of vagina and penis you've seen them all. What is different is the looks and personality of the girls. No matter which company makes the film I would not want to watch a movie with unatractive girls like Sandra Romain or Mandy Bright performing no matter which studio produced it. There must constantly be more fresh and beautiful performers recruited for porn to be sucessful.

Honestly i never thought about this as being strange...
But i guess for me is true quite the opposite of your subject...

I'm more for porn girls instead of porn movies.

Of course it's very important if the movie is good and well directed.
So i'll also look at who's the director...but only if i like the cast first...

For me it are also the girls.
But I also like some variety in locations (that's my my proiblem with Sineplex and Sinsational. Always filmed in those boring rooms with that ugly curtains).

I want to see the girls enjoying the sex.
In fact I don't like close-ups at all. I fastforward a movie that shows a pumping dick in an ass for minutes.

Oliver Brand has directed about 15 terrific movies in 21 Sextury's "Teen Anal Lesbian" series. The titles are "Les Cuties" (1-7), "Girly Love" (1-3), "Les Honeys" (1-3), Petite Playthings and Clit Sisters.

The movies are quite remarkable consistent and uniform. They all have excellent lighting, steady camera work, standard length (about 170 minutes), fixed number of scenes (6) of which 2 are threesomes and 4 twosomes. All the scenes start have a small storyline that is played out the first few minutes. Then the girls undress. Their is some tease, kissing, breast play, pussy licking. Then are toys. Every girl gets a toy up her ass. There is also some rimming.

Since these 15 movies are so uniform, I guess that the female cast --as the only remaining variable-- is now extremely important in deciding which of these movies are better than the others.

Yet when I look at a site like LezLoveVideo.com none of the reviews make any comments about specific porn girls in these movies. That makes sense to me. Oliver Brand chooses his 14 girls per movie from a pool of about 25 Hungarian girls, who are all very cute, sexy and attractive.

But perhaps there are posters here at EBI who will argue that some of these Oliver Brand movies are indeed better than others because of the fact that one or two of their favourite girls appear in it..........

Well, positive or negative for what ?
It's a fan site, and a site about porn girls, so it's niche to begin with.

But I do get your point. I don't think it's negative, it's just a limit of the site. If I start a site about CSI, I will cover CSI, not tv in general.
But we should do more reviews and articles about the movies themselves, I agree with that, but I don't think it's good or bad.
Eurogirls are mostly newcomers, there are only a few superstars, so it's all about finding new babes, always younger and prettier.

It's an interesting question, but it's also a cul de sac here.
