EA and HD downloading

I'm not trying to make enemies, I'm just exposing something that I consider misleading. The EA website doesn't provide HD downloading, even though the the site claims have content "Now in HD." My assumption was that downloadable HD content existed on the site since nothing on site claimed otherwise. As soon as you enter the site: http://www.evilangel.com/en you'll notice in the corner that it advertises HD content. After paying for what I thought was included in my membership, I became immediately shocked to know that HD content is only streamable. I have yet to understand the point of doing this, and believe me when I say I've tried. I would like to hear some comments about this and whether you would join this site knowing what I now know about it.

I've been a fan of EA for many years, but THIS was a huge disappointment to say the least.

The streamable "HD" is 960x540, that's also not HD. HD is at least 1280x720, all lower resolution is not HD. What Gamma Entertainment does here is simply fraud. And Evil Angel seems not to care about it. Shame on them.

Having got a taste for hi def porn there is no way id get a subscription to Evil Angel. They may shoot great content (in HD!) but to only offer it then in SD in the form of dvds and over the internet is sheer madness on an epic scale. I don't understand how Elegant Angel and Zero Tolerance get it but Evil doesn't. At the moment I have 21sextury and brazzers and next year I probably dip into a lot of the Russian sites and elegant angel I just wish Evil Angel would move forward into HD.

^ I can recommend elegantangel. Great site, with new movies in full 1080p, 8000KBs. Quality is as perfect as with 21sextury.

I read that on ADT and I was a bit baffled by Tricia's words.

I'm not quite sure about what she was meaning.

...but if she was seriously telling us to take our complaints about the Evil Angel websites to Famedollars...they have
some serious problems going on over there.

Who at the top over there at Evil Angel is unable to take large/wide scale customer complaints directly to the people running the show
over at Famedollars?

I don't know the terms of the deal that EA made with GammaE...but I think that it was one that basically handed
over all or most of the EA web operations over to the people at Famedollars.
I don't think that EA wanted to deal with the various problems associated with their web operations anymore so they kind of
handed everything over to GammaE.
I think that EA more or less became a content provider in the deal.

...BUT.....when GammaE does a cruddy job of running the web operations....from the customer's perspectives...it's EA that
takes the heat with damage to EA's hard earned somewhat good reputation.
The logos and names all over the websites are Evil Angel logos and the names of their producers/directors etc.

GammaE's not taking the heat and getting the complaints...Evil Angel is.

The various message threads on the various forums don't start with GammaE in the subject lines...they say and sometimes
even scream Evil Angel.


I find it disturbing that EA would try to pass complaints and related issues off to GammaE...it's *their* brand that is being damaged.
...but this all probably relates to exactly why EA dumped their web operations off to another company...they don't want to have to
deal with all of the problems and complaints etc that come with running their own web operations etc.


It's their business....we are just the concerned fans and customers....they don't care and they won't listen..and why should
they bother...their deals have been made and their money keeps flowing in...for now.

Not only do they say "Now in HD" and "Full HD Quality", famedollars is actually using the official Blu-ray Disc logo in their advertising across the internet First, their videos are not even remotely close to what Blu-ray can deliver, and second I'm fairly certain they are *not* paying the necessary royalties to use that logo!

Good grief. I must say though that from my occasional viewing of ADT (I was banned from posting a couple of years ago just for expressing some negative opinions about Max Hardcore in a thread about his court case and subsequent conviction) that's not the first time I've seen Tricia give some somewhat less-than-satisfactory customer service. I don't have any particular gripe against her as I know she updates about EA on the site regularly and seems a decent sort but she needs to take more responsibility for her role on occasion IMHO.

Absurd, but I am not really surprised anymore by what is going on at ADT....

When I first joined ADT, several years ago, I started up a couple of threads in support of the German porn labels Videorama and DBM. This was not appreciated by Steph Dunn, and hence I was banned.

Years later I signed up again. This time I, and two other European posters, voiced strong concerns over the US foreign policy in the Middle East (Iraq, Afghanistan, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay). We were immediately attacked by a right-wing mob led by Billy Bathgate, and we were branded as "anti-semite" and "anti-American". All three of us were banned by Steph.

Ha, yeah I notice when you read through the threads that there are loads of posters classed as "deactivated user", many more than you'd expect to see on an internet forum. I guess the folk who run it are a little quick to ban people and IMHO not the best at dealing with opinion that doesn't match their own thoughts or even agenda.
