I don’t see the fuzz about DRM if the content is what you like and want then just get it- and quit worrying about whether you can back it up and re rip the movie because you can get all versions for about 20 bucks if you seed and file share, maybe less- there is a formula that will come up but you can pretty much get almost for free porn. You can even download 20 DVDs you don’t want seed them and then you get paid and buy the one you want- maybe for like 5 bucks.
