I'm saddened to see Sineplex engaging in this level of fantasy . Really, I've been a Sin fan from their early days, and I've probably dropped over $200 on their DVDs. I want to see them succeed and keep making the best porn. But not only will people "reedit and change pixels and remove the subsonic barcode", but they will probably write custom Virtualdub filters just for that purpose. And you wouldn't even have to "remove or reedit" anything, just obscure them to the point they can't be identified, which is far easier.

And the idea of Sineplex getting people banned from the internet is...well, it's just adorable. Kind of like kids say they're going to run their own circus with real elephants and tigers. I'm not thrilled about this wide-eyed innocence coming from my favorite porn company, though.

There is a model for making money in the age of piracy. It's called Itunes, which gave up on DRM last April. Apple made it easier to get music from them than it is to get it from piratebay--and it turns out people don't mind paying for the convenience. Sineplex has NEVER HAD a decent delivery system for their content. Fix that, and the money will follow.

Just wait.
Pinkincide says that Sineplex has no distribution system, they cannot build commercial network to sell DVDs in shops.
They shoot films and that's all.

All i know is that they trust in their new system, from the point of a consumer i hope that everything works well on the new sites.
They finished editing those excellent scenes from the summer and i want to see this stuff now !

Haha, that made me laugh! Sooo true what you are saying - unfortunately Sineplex won't listen to their customers and rather play the 'I'm smarter than the rest of the whole entertainment industry' game... They simply refuse to learn from what's been tried by all the others companies, and obviously have programmers around that either are naive to the bone or who can simply sell easily to people who don't have a clue.
