Defend Our Porn - Help Evil Angel against censorship in USA

The Defend Our Porn DVD is the first DVD compilation to contain scenes from every current Evil Angel director and former Evil Angel director Jules Jordan. All of Evil Angel’s proceeds from the movie will go into the legal defense fund to defend Evil Angel against the recent federal indictments on obscenity, and at the end of the case all remaining funds will continue to be used to fight the government’s war on pornography. These scenes and all production costs related to creating this DVD were donated in support of Evil Angel.

On April 8, 2008, charges of obscenity were filed against John Stagliano and his companies John Stagliano Inc and Evil Angel Productions Inc. The movies charged were Milk Nymphos, Storm Squirters 2 and a trailer of Belladonna: Fetish Fanatic 5 on the Evil Angel website.

Buy it? Why? To make them more rich and to give them more attitude then they already have, you must know since this little hype, that the whole EA company is acting "bigger then God".

OMG, there was is and will be only one Larry Flynt on this matter (all the rest are copycats), and fame goes over, attention goes over and hypes goes over for sure.

Best was/is to run the company without changing the "bigness in the head" of it.

What a strange idea. They are theoretically making out that in some way buying this DVD is investing money into the Evil Angel Charity fund against censorship!

My only problem with this is what is different about this DVD to every other DVD they actually sell. Why not put the money from the other DVD's into fighting a legal battle which is infact their battle and not ours.

If Microsoft for example said "to fight a campaign against the fact the world thinks we are monopolising the software industry, we will release a special version of Windows Vista that when you log in it will tell you each day how great you are", would you buy it?

If the answer is no, then how is this different to the EA approach! Basically, Evil Angel (who have a vastly superior bank account to anyone here, infact to probably all of us combined) do not want to spend their profits fighting a battle which effects them, so do a weak charity event, selling old material and a sob story, to use our money instead to fight their battle.

I say "bollocks to that EA!!" Fight your own battles and don't involve your paying customers.

Before I get flamed for my flame, let me explain the reasons behind it. As a once industry insider I am aware how things work within the business.

A compilation video of old scenes is a fast money maker. Once the model has done the scene he/she is paid and they do not have royalties. So, a compilation of old scenes is a winner because they do not have to pay the model again. Just requires someone to edit up the new DVD and artwork, DVD pressing, distribution and job done. Vastly cheaper than a new DVD (which has directors fees, agents fees, model fees, etc (or more than likely in the case of EA just a director payment for the complete edited DVD which they then produce)).

Are Evil Angel producing this very cheap DVD to help the business, or themselves. Quite honestly, its a purely selfish motive in which they will use the money to fight their own problems.

Now, if it was to help AIDS, or child poverty, global warming, or other issues which plague this world then they would have my support. They are not, they are doing it for selfish reasons.

Lea De Mae, a very popular model, passed away from a brain tumor which I believe could have been treated if the correct medical assistance was given. Where was Evil Angel when Lea was dying? Not a word (infact, where were any of the major producers to help her.. Only Larry Flint assisted I believe).

Where were Evil Angel when the AIDS issue hit the US porn industry.. no where to be seen!! Where were Evil Angel when the problems hit the Czech industry through VD? No where to be seen!!

Suddenly a rich corporate business see's a problem on the horizon and tries to rally everyone to come to their aid. Sorry, dont think so. If you don't bother helping your own, then why expect people to want to help you.

If you read it good, also the graphics, prints and pressing is done for free for this DVD! So not 1 single $ has it costed to "re-release" this one.

BTW: ... it was me who called to Mark Hamilton ( at that time he was the Vice President from LFP - Larry Flynt Publications ), but not he was able to help anymore, because it was to late (RIP - respect). EA is one of the leading paying advertisers from AVN USA, and I do know the prices ( 1.850 $ for 1 page ), EA books at least 4 pages each edition that is: 7.400 $ a month and that is 88.800 $ ( over 100.000 euro ) a year. And this without the special sponsoring that EA is doing in the states with major events. Yes, also an European can know things from the US, and those are facts.
