I don't see it just as easy as it sounds for two reasons
1, the US border control can turn anybody back if they suspect they arrive to work
2, they still need 2257 compliant, US or State government issued IDs in order to work in the US

Of course if an agent takes care of them (tells them the DOs and DO NOTs of what to bring, what to wear, how to behave, what to say if they've been asked) maybe they have better chances to cross the border.
However, even if they "perform" well at the border, "thanks" to all those 2257 checks at many porn companies in the past few years many of those girls who just once worked for or been published by a US company, those girls' passport scans already in custody of the government. I'm pretty sure new arrivals from those countries, especially in the first few months of the visa-waiver program, will be checked more accurately against every kind of databases the DHS has.
As for IDs, there are a few states issuing Driving License or ID card for foreigners but the practice is pretty unpredictable. As far as I know by law nobody should have receive DL or ID without proof of long time (more than 6 months) lawful residency in any state. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.
Not to mention costs, language barrier, the current general and "porn specific" economy crisis, etc. I don't see tons of Eurobabes on their way to the Valley anytime soon.

I've heard this other places as well. The only dangerous city to be in is like El Paso, or some of the other cities along the border with Mexico. I wouldn't walk the streets of Detroit at night. But other than that you're safe in any other city's downtown. Violence hasn't broken out anywhere due to the economic downturn. True, but there are still a few directors committed to true hardcore left in LA. Jenna Lovely and Claudia Rossi could work for EE or Manuel Ferrara (european, I know, but based in the US) for instance. The problem just is that there are so many other easier job ofers.
