I don't believe I said I felt sorry for them. You are correct that they chose this line of work but is it fair to condemn them for their decision. Abusive and cruel comments are still unjustified.
Are you sure that it's not about morality and the perceptions of those viewing the material. If someone feels anger when viewing pornographic material that they feel they need to write abusive comments about those in said material, then maybe they should not view this material. Maybe its their mindset which is incapable of letting people follow their chosen path regardless of what it is.
I am sure the irony is that the abuse is generally found on sites that are of a pornographic nature, so if someone feels so strongly about it and regards it as not "normal" then what are they doing on those sites.
For Victoria, it is definitely a good source of money. It's far better than the pay working at McDonalds or other said "normal" jobs.
On the other hand, with the pay so low in Hungary, those seeking employment in jobs paying better outside of Hungary (or other former Eastern Bloc countries) are generally treated poorly by every other nation in Western Europe with comments like "why don't you go home and stop taking our jobs".
Incidentally, in Hungary, this is a normal job. It's just those with a mindset that they are whores and should be treated as such that makes it "not a normal job".
