Frankly, if I were Pierre (and god knows I'm not) I'd quit without looking back. He will never adapt to being just a movie-a-month director (I'm not saying "a hack", mind you, it's not a matter of quality), his projects and girls have to be special and maybe it's not worth it anymore. The bitching Internet crowd definitely doesn't deserve his efforts, that doesn't lead to disappointing sales, ok, but it's like a thorn in a producer's side and enough to put him/her off.
I disagree Sbando. I look at companies like Private who still make their bigger budget tropical lines and Marc Dorcel who recently spent $250,000 euros on Casino. The difference their is those guys have good distribution in place, good websites, video on demand and streaming to go with the DVD product. Woodman tries to do everthing himself and its simply too much. The website is back up and running. I believe Woodman will resurface with another company over the next couple of years and Woodman Entertainment will be a memory. He spent $800,000 euros on X-Calibur, an awesome mix of talent and hardcore sex but then didn't have good distribution or website to support and promote this colossal picture. Woodman is my favourite director. His commitment to quality is the single biggest reason I became a porn fan. He should however stick to making movies and allow other people to do the sales and marketing.
