Surprise Beauty?

"Surprise Beauty?" In other words, dishonest.
Generally, one doesn't pay a model or "actress" in the U.S. until after the shoot. For most matters of more than a few hundred dollars, a contract is mandatory and a contract is generally very specific and is not easily broken. There may be an advance and certainly travel expenses are paid in advance, but payment is after the job is done, like any job. If someone demanded double money part way through a project, then their part of the project ends right then and they are sent home without payment. Breach of contract. If they only finished half the job, that is still breach of contract. If the breach is sufficient and premeditated, it constitutes fraud, which is a crime. A model who does that kind of thing generally cannot get away with it for long as there are always other models to photograph or film. Lack of professionalism and a bad attitude ends a career in a hurry.
