Xenomorgue wrote:Jay Sin, you state that "Winking 101" will be released in December 2009.
However, if you check the Evil Angel website, this title is nowhere mentioned.....
For example not in the "Coming Soon" section, which lists Evil Angel's DVD titles
scheduled for release in November and December.
That could be some kind of an error on the EA website..or it could be that EA is holding
back the release for sometime in early 2010(January?)..instead of a mid to late
December 2009 release.
EA seems to delay or hold titles back near the end of every year.
I think that they like to hold titles back to show off some hot new fresh
titles for the big AVN show in Las Vegas that takes place early on
in January...which is always a good idea to create interest and excitement.
I could be totally off about that stuff.
I know that EA folks plan ahead...but maybe they had to make some
last minute changes with their end of year release schedule and
try to also work things in with their AVN show special promotions.
EA always seems mix and shuffle some things around near the end of the
year and into the new year.
BTW....related to this topic...the EA website isn't what it used to be
regarding their promotion of upcoming titles.
They are still good..but they used to be great.
Things seem to have changed around that website about three months
back or so...that's when the lagging and the lackings started to
show up.
It is very possible that the EA site has been lacking and messed up because
of their upcoming switch to a new system and a new website in the
coming new year.
Why fix and maintain the old(current) website..when in a few months
they'll be switching over to something new and different etc.

An excerpt from the announcement:
~~~~~~~
Starting in 2010, all of Evil Angel’s e-commerce sites, including its membership sites and affiliate program will fall under the management and development arm of Gamma Entertainment and FameDollars. First up will be the re-launch of EvilAngel.com as a mega-membership site offering the entire range of Evil Angel movies from all of its directors in one site for one monthly fee. All of the current content on EvilAngel.com such as trailers and DVD release info will be migrated to a new site, which will be a free information portal.
Adam Grayson, Evil Angel’s Director of Web Operations is enthusiastic: “EvilAngel.com has tremendous organic traffic built up by years of fan loyalty. The logical step is to make it the place to watch our content in a pay site model. I’ve spent time getting to know the team at Gamma and I look forward to the seeing the deal’s potential unfold.
